Remotely controlled
First remotely operated oil recovery from 2 sunken tankers ("Yu-il 1" and "Osung 3") offshore Pusan-South Korea on behalf of KMPRC. The operation was rewarded with the 1999 Seatrade Award.
As a SCR I witnessed the removal of bunkers and lubricating oil from the sunken m.v. "Ice Prince" on behalf of the West of England PandI club via Messrs INCE & Co.
